ON THE
ROAD
Our trip to Boston includes members of our Advanced Choir, our Intermediate Choir, and our select group, the DQ. Our Itinerary is below and also on our Blog page. For more information, see below!
Advanced choir is a full year class focused on learning music from around the world in 3 and 4-part harmony. The goal of the class is to prepare students for singing beyong high school by providing challenging performance opportunities and student-driven learning opportunities to master sight reading, performing, and knowledge of music history.
Intermediate choir is a semester-long class whose goal is to prepare students to sing in Advanced choir by giving them a strong foundation in basic singing and sight reading skills.
The DQ (Double Quartet) is a small, all a cappella group that meets after school twice a week and studies challenging music that showcases students' talents and musical interests.

8:00am Leave WCHS
12:00pm Arrive at Roxbury Prep-The Lucy Stone Campus
12:00pm Lunch with Roxbury Prep friends
1:00-4:00pm Rehearsal/Exchange/Workshop
4:30-6:30pm Dinner at Chipotle, Somerville
7:00pm Attend BOSS A Cappella Competition, Somerville Theatre
9:00pm Depart for Hotel
Stay overnight: Wyndham Hotel, Andover, MA
Saturday, April 9
7:00am Breakfast at hotel
8:00am Leave hotel
9:00am Freedom Trail (self-guided)
11:30-12:30pm Performance at Faneuil Hall
12:30-2pm Free time to shop, hang out at Marketplace
2-3:30pm Walk to North end, USS Constitution, North Church
4:00pm Improv show at Improv Asylum
7:00pm Dinner at Hard Rock Cafe
9:00pm Games and fun at Hotel
Stay overnight: Wyndham Hotel, Andover, MA
Sunday, April 10
8:00am Breakfast at hotel (with all belongings on bus)
9:00am Leave Boston
11:30am Tour of Amherst College
12:30-3:30pm Lunch and workshop with Amherst College Concert Choir students
4:00pm Depart for Brooklyn
7:00pm Arrive at WCHS
